THE MAIN PRINCIPLES ABOUT RSSB
Everyone lives their life with some objective or aim, some wishes or desires that make them act in a particular way. Dependent on their objectives, people identify specific values or principles to live by, principles that shape a journey that leads them where they want to go
The first principle about rssb is that how we observe is that we try not to hurt anyone. Not only do we not hurt any mortal being, we seek to live a life where we beget no suffering at all – not only to people but also to all the other life forms creatures, catcalls, insects, all living beings. We choose to live a life that causes the minimal suffering to any living being in the creation.
The entire creation has come into actuality from the one spirit, the one Shabd – when all are corridor of the godly One – is it logical to consider that some corridors are of no value, some of low. When all It is not logical to consider that some corridors are of no value, some of low
PURPOSE BEHIND RADHA SOAMI AND THE FOLLOWERS
Would we choose to be part of the demand for that force chain? This is why we choose a submissive diet. In addition to embracing the ideal of compassion for all living beings through our life, there’s the health consideration as well. numerous scientists are now putting forward the conception that a submissive diet is a preferable option for health-conscious individualities living responsibly in moment’s world
The second value or principle supporting spirituality is clarity of mind. It is the human capacity to reflect and discriminate between right and wrong that enables a person, as compared with all other living creatures, to choose to live by specific principlesThe human form alone is a karam jooni, the only life form with choice, as compared with “bhog joonian”, which describe all other life forms. Life forms that are bhog joonian merely undergo, endure, and live out their karmic allocation for each life. As long as they are in that life form, they have no choice. To exercise our God-given birthright as a karam jooni, and to support the future we have consciously chosen for ourselves. We need a clear mind. Unique capacity for discrimination is reflected even in legal sphere. When we wish to make a formal will
SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING ABOUT RSSB
With clear vision, we are in a position to keep our spiritual objective before us at all times. All of us ourselves are temples of the living God. We are at the top of the creation. We ourselves are the body, the physical form, in which the Lord can be found. The structures we have made over the centuries, our diverse places of worship. Enable the lovers of the spirit to come together in remembrance of the One. Were we to truly understand the One, their differences would not be considered significant.
“In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God”. Gives the message of the One from the perspective of Christianity. “Shabd guru, surat dhun chela” – from the Adi Granth – means the Word is the true teacher or Guru. And a consciousness attuned to the melodious sound of Shabd is the true disciple.
BELIEFS AND DIET ABOUT RSSB
The Radha Soami Satsang believes that living gurus are necessary for a guided spiritual life. They do not install the Guru Granth Sahib or any other scriptures in their sanctum, as they consider it ritualistic. Instead, the guru sits in the sanctum with the satsang. Satsang and they listen to preachings from the Adi Granth and sing hymns together. They believe in social equality, forbid caste distinctions, and have also attracted Dalits to their tradition. They are active outside India too.
The Radha Soami are strict vegetarians. They are active in charitable work such as providing free medical services and help to the needy. They do not believe in orthodox Sikh ritual practices such as covering one’s head inside the temple or removing shoes. Nor do they serve karahKarah prasad at the end of prayers. Their basic practices include Surat Shabd Yoga (meditation on inner light and sound). Initiation of the disciple into the path by a living guru, obedience to the guru, and a moral life. That is defined by abstinence from meat, drugs, alcohol, and sex outside marriage. They also believe that jivanmukti or inner liberation is possible during one’s lifetime with the guidance of the living guru. However, some of these practices vary depending on the branches of the Radha Soami sect
